I came out and started transitioning, moved across the country, and traveled around quite a bit. I got back into the mecha as erotic with the release of AC6, and it almost feels like returning to the womb? There’s more than a few of my irl friends now who are also Into this. Knowing people actually DO like what i do is validation that putting it all out there did bring mechaphiles closer. I think machine as a creature type is totally valid this day and age with 70 years of sci-fi under our collective belts. The Golden age of robot anime may be over, but in games The Machine thing is strong. Machines can exude these very masculine traits without it being strictly a man too. ::thumbs up::

If you slow down, or stop posting porn for longer than an hour, they will spam channels with all manner of unrelated off topic porn. Then they beg you for free art (unpaid labour) and then fuck off back to xbox live until you are needed again. The kind of persons who need to be “Constantly” entertained, and it’s not as chill anymore, like you said. But I don’t think there ever was a chill chat for LM to begin with. The community is way to small/distracted to hold itself together. It also runs precariously adjacent to real mechaphiles (who actually bang their cars)and I can’t personally be around that either. Not just the nsfw stuff, the world and lore of dire machines is so fun to think about. I’m usually a robot/eldritch monster phile and train enjoyer (platonically?) But your art is quickly winning me over on war machines. Im actually super happy that I could entertain you. Bring you strange ideas to chew on, and borrow. (Obviously I didn’t create LM, but told as an Alien invasion story, its pretty decent even without the fetish stuff). Aside from that, Eldritch monster is some of the finest flavor there is (I gotta find a way to play Bloodborne for my lovecraftian loving ass).

Can’t wait to see how it ties together in the overall story. As for Bloodborne the ps4 emulator is making good progress on emulating it so hopefully soon! @lorventus: Hey hows it going since last time? About this stuff being “stupid”, I’m pretty hard on myself. Its the “Wheel of self-deprecation” I must escape for all of our sanity lol. Few people choose to draw machines for fun outside of model box covers, pencil studies, and sci-fi concept art. Even less do people depict these things with any kind of agency either. It makes me feel kinda super alone Btw. Like their is something wrong with me for doing this over more lucrative subject matter. Absolutely thank you for the kind words about the comic (I am about to drop a new fix page this week, things are slow going.)
My overall intent is to find a way to give people who like the story, but not the porn, a choice to engage without it. Like it should be weird and cool on it’s own. Perhaps this is salvation?
