Was talking with Hydrothrax the other day on artists that inspire us to draw what we draw. Had my art career gone in a different direction, Or I had some formal industrial design training, I think that this guys art is where I could have logically ended up. It appears to be a sci-fi series of machines used for rescue, defense, and anti-poaching of the real animals which are probably extremely rare on the planet. What makes this guys art so cool to me is the attention to detail on the different fabric and metal textures. Machines with fabric covers to protect the sensitive machinery from dust is more of what we could expect from real world robots then your run of the mil armor-only variations. I invite you to go this artists site and check out the rest of his great artwork as well: http://crazyasian1.deviantart.com/
