About this page: Starting here is the bonfire scene witch was a pivotal point in the flashback . The Atoll machines had to decide what to do with the half machine women, because they were just as much victims of Bossman lies as the vehicles were. It was (because of porn fantasy) decided by No-no that each machine should choose a woman to be each others mate so they could fuck and pull bits of information out of the soldiers minds about the project. The scope of the atoll comic has become decidedly less porny in order to save time and get to the main point of the story- the exodus of the island, and the discovery of the Calamity on the mainland. I’m starting to think there probably just isn’t time for kamov and Char’s sub story either- so when I introduce minor scenes with them, itl probably seem as arbitrary as the sudden sex scene with No-name and rocket was. Its not a good feeling, but there will be time later on to supplement if I have to.
Anyway, the rest of the characters get introduced in this scene including Alex Traeger who was the person No-Name referred to as “the exception” when all the scientists were never going to leave the island alive. Some of the new people have quarks, Nighthawk has photophobia, and leo’s woman has something strange going on with her as well. 
Evalion took a crack at making a Logo for the nefarious megacorp GenUmine (the space company that started the success machine project) And I had a lot of fun coming up with a figurative timeline for the events of world leading up to 2124 (the current year in Atoll Lab world) I’ll probably share what we’ve come up with in the next blog post but I thought I might just keep this here.

Evalion has thrown his hat in the ring towards doing some living machine comics but this time a more serious tone explaining the origins of his own character. A popular subject as of late Is the events happening in and around the calamity- Btw I’ll be updating my little faux wiki about that soon.

Welp. Category 4 hurricane coming to hit me in Central Florida. Supposed to be worse than Charlie, Fey, and Andrew from ’05. Well shit. We just finished cleaning and hunkering in our bunker so we’ll be alright, only problem is a lack of gas and being surrounded by dying trees but we’ve plenty of food, water, and shelter. Okay what I’m trying to say is don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine.
About time the comic tab was added, really shows just how much you’ve really done. Ain’t it impressive?

@Ratbat Pff, I’ve kept ibuprofen on my person or nearby since I was like, 16. Right knee likes to randomly swell to varying degrees. Sometimes it’s just enough to ache a bit, other times it’s crippling, but a double dose of OTC NSAID makes it tolerable if not eliminates it completely. Yay congenitally acquired joint problems! 😀 Other than that, probably the most fit I’ve been aside from when I was running 3 miles a day.

I’ve already been writing this side story for a month and still have yet to write a sex scene. :/ I guess I’ve been too busy with WOWS, how often have you gotten onto AW? You excited for Global Offense? I might join just for that gamemode, it looks awesome!

Turning 36 soon? How soon? If we have the same birthday, that would be an interesting coincidence indeed. In my case, turning 35 on the 4th.
And Lemarchand is wonderfully grumpy.
And I know that feeling of trying to figure out what to do with all that sex once a porn story becomes a real story and the realization sinks in that the lead-up to the sex was too convoluted to work. The scene between Rocket and No-Name was handled just about perfectly IMO.
It makes sense for No-Name to pair them up to interrogate the women individually, pointing out that they’re not to be hurt. Maybe also have a scene where Rocket and the girls try to figure out how to counter-interrogate the machines, and the subject of seduction comes up.
Also it helps make things seem less silly and porny if you at least refer to a cases where the situation doesn’t lead to sex.

Anyway your right about the sex fantasy stuff. This is stuff that would have happened behind walls and under bushes and wouldn’t have even been No-Name’s business. (Although lemarchand sees everything). The Girls getting partnered up with their perspective vehicles though that’s gotta happen including the speech on what everyone knows and what they should do about it. There is also a scene following this one where the crisis of food for the women pops up. This prompts No-No to try and come up with a solution while the others patrol the island and presumably get to know each other before Neodym shows up. In the comic they had a good 6 months to do this, but I think I’ll condense it into one month instead, since its just a flashback.
This whole thing Is just a 3rd of an introduction to the head world anyway. I dont think I can spend more then 6 pages on the bonfire scene anyway. Dude comics suck.
