@Ratbat – To be perfectly honest I am not sure what it is about first and second generation fighters I like so much. I think maybe I just like the air intakes in the nosecone and how the fuselage is so streamlined and clean. The weirdest thing is though I LOVE the Mig 31, and the A-10, and other bulky brutish like jets as well. Go figure I’m just weird lol.
I love the final coloring of Yelena, and that little light shimmer effect below the cockpit is cool. You have an very old sketch thrown in somewhere of an Su-17 sitting on a runway with a market in the background, it was just a tiny sketch in with a bunch of them. That’s one of my favorites just because I like that style! Man it took forever to figure out what kind of Jet it was, I though it was a Mig-17 at first! Fun little scavenger hunt.
Thank you for keeping the hobby going, hope to hear from you that all is well!
@... Zara: normally I am the opposite of you when it comes to Korean War jets. I don’t like the giant ass hole in the nose like you see on the mig-19 and Sabre. (I almost never drew Dempsey as an f-86 because of this, but I’m glad I did now. The design grew on me). It’s better if the intake hole is capped off with a cone like in the su-22.
Btw I’m glad you guys can discover new jets through my art. I am effectively discovering many of these wonderful machines as I go too.

You know what that ural 4320 is really looking at if you catch my drift
@Luke: I’m glad a few people liked the little Ural. Traditionally most people think of fuel trucks as ugly, but I put flowers on her. She’s a good girl now 😉

I love that SU-22 picture, something about the way you drawn the older style jet’s I love. I can’t want to see this one completed bud thank you for continuing to do these up.
@... Zara: I got her finished and she’s lookin dope with the black, purple, gold. What is it about old jets you like?

What do vehicles drink, I wonder?
Also I saw you posting a bunch on Infinity recently. You drew a cute Zaku over there, you should include a scanned version of it in one of your blog updates at some point.
@... Nine: I’ll post that zaku up soon! Had a hellova week and so, reply’s are sparse. Dire machines mostly take in fuel through the places they took in fuel as a dead metal machine. So the weird places like the back, the front of the face, the side- that’s typically where the machines drink.
su-22 is my fav.
@... Kcidical: it’s a great looking classic plane just like the mig-21
@Ratbat the Ural is the true queen of this story in my heart
