I took this commission (witch is rare) because they didn’t ask for adult stuff. I thought it might be nice to do something that people would wear on a t-shirt. For “joint special operations air detachment”. The idea is that this c-130 shouldn’t even be flying, but these little pipboy esque guys will do their best to fix it and keep it flying even as it is falling apart.

Neir: Automata music.. such a wonderful game this was…
Hi Ratbat.
I read now this comment-section and I can understand how that feel for you, with such a community like the furry community. for my bad, i am a little perert like them to and i got into some kinks, but I was more than dissapointet that in the last 5-6 years more and more extrem fetisches spraded throw the fandom.
I support your point, draw what do you like. I found you circa last year and I like your art, all of it. Not important if a plane has a “schlong” between his weels.
So if you need maybe interested in a idea, I think you never drew a HO 229.
Sitting next to a good friend, maybe the pilot, having good times and taking a good sip of “bier” and “schmieröl” 😉
It’s not even because i’m fan of your work ( and I love it ) but admit it, you’re the best in your category, far away than the others ( afaik and seen).
@Ratbat: thanks for the answer alway enjoying hearing little bit more world building.Sorry if my question sounded like i was shoving your opinion aside about your preference on military machines. It just not many people get a chance to see a military vehicle real life so i thought how often people get an opportunity to have one as a lover.
@Ratbat
I gotta agree with your rant. A lot of them became addicted to porn at a young age and turned into degenerates because of it. I really don’t like using that word, but when they’re whacking it to things like a 20 foot futa anthro bull crushing people to death everyday, that’s what they are.
They remind me of heroin junkies in a way, their lives often fall into the same spiral of spending tons of money on progressively more intense things just to feel a few minutes of fleeting pleasure. Ever take a look at FA? They go into bidding wars that often exceed 1000 dollars just to get their OC shoved into an already pre-made image. They have no life beyond yiff and the furry community, it’s really sad.
>this design might be used on a tshirt for an airforce repair unit very soon.
That’s really cool, how does it feel knowing that some people working in the airforce might be wearing something you drew?
@Ratbat
>As much as I like furries as people, I don’t like their porn very much.
I don’t like ’em much either way, personally. I’ve had many bad experiences with them, both online and in real life. You’ll never know true second-hand embarrassment until you see somebody walking around in a fursuit.
A friend of mine had to stop taking furry commissions because he found the people making them ridiculously demanding. They weren’t expensive commissions or anything, either.
Anyway, I like this drawing, it’s pretty cute. Did the person who commissioned it say what they were using it for? Looks like something that would be made into a patch.
@Anon: I used to do a lot of furry commissions circa 2004. In the beginning it was fine, but my angle was that I just liked monsters. I didn’t really want it to be a sexual thing, I just thought monsters were cool.
Their is a larger conversation to be had about human nature, chronic depression, and social vacuums, on the internet that contribute to whole fan bases of incredibly talented people throwing away their potential on pain relief “fetish porn” (including myself).
But I’ll defiantly say, that the furries have a force multiplier when it comes to extreams. It’s never Just “Hermaphrodites” or simple “gender bend”. It’s Colossal size play transforming hermaphrodites with genital dismorphia and vore fetish. It’s all the fetishes. Furries have burnt their brains out so hard that nothing simple touches them anymore. They are the equivalent to the man who sits in his prison cell burning his inner thigh with a cigarette just trying to “feel something”. So much so, that the anthromorphic aspect, the cool monsters, they are no longer important. The artwork you see now, is so utterly drowned in the sexual aspect. You cannot go a moment without seeing a character sheet where the dick and balls hold more importance then the content of the character they are attached to.
I like sex, don’t get me wrong. But I look at furry art now and all I see is cascading depression. I realize this sounds absolutely hipocritical coming from someone who wanks to fighter jets but it’s just my general observation. (Rant off)
Ps: this design might be used on a tshirt for an airforce repair unit very soon. (They are going to vote on it shortly).
@Ratbat:This kinda makes me wonder of What percentage of people to get lucky enough to have a military machine as a lover comepare to non military machine since there are more of them. What your thought on it. Personally i like both type.
@Sora: I don’t know the real % of vehicle numbers in the world, but let’s say for the sake of arguing that post calamity numbers have military vehicles at 15-20%. That leaves the number of civilian, commercial, research or other machines to share in the last 80%. This means in reality, military machines are a very small minority, and 8 out 10 times you’d find relationships with civie machines. A relationship with Rochelle from the cars/planes universe would be slightly more common except it would be offset by that fact that she’s technically also an athlete.(race plane)
Military bases tend to exist in really hot, dry, shitty places as well. So they’d have a hard time attracting people long enough to stick around for a background check. People already in the military, might be in it for the career, younger people, looking to stay just long enough for their GI bill to kick in, or maybe they are looking for someone to date in the unit. The military in the atol world promotes unit cohesion and dating within the service, but these machines are still at a disadvantage vs civilian vehicles.
I think it’s good like that. ’cause it’s good for you and for me ( I can see more cool art from you) 😀
I have nothing against furries and stuff, but sure your art is way more ‘cooler’ than a big titties plane.
@... Jean: dawww’ thank you *_* <3
Maybe you’re already told it somewhere, but why you don’t want to take commissions?
@Jean: Its mostly lack of time, since getting into xray technology my days are 12 hours long. When I get home, id rather just make my own art or play video games.. or sleep. Introducing Bad dragon’s art director to living machines late last year also had the unintended effect of bringing the hammer down from Furaffinity’s fan base. I found myself mired in requests from furries trying to get “novelty” porn of a plane or tank or some big titted monstrosity with plane wings fucking their avatar. As much as I like furries as people, I don’t like their porn very much. I would rather just do human x machine as I have always done. Keep it in my wheel house sorta speak. The other thing, While I love machines, I am not so much interested in non military vehicles. I differ from most other mechaphiles in this way. (I love trucks tho..)
I’d rather just draw things I’m interested in. I wait for the day people ask me to draw what I am interested in though.
